Welcome back to the studio as we prepare to unveil our very first major release under the JULY 1989 banner—a full-length concept album and companion prose collection centered on the understated beauty of everyday life. Rather than grand spectacles, this project explores ordinary events, quiet observations, natural feelings, creativity, and the lasting warmth of deep friendships. 

Drawing inspiration from vintage synth textures, warm tape compression, and cozy, nostalgic melodies composed with generative AI tools, each track pairs directly with an observational short story chapter that highlights the unexpected inspiration found in daily routines and genuine connection.
